Production Manager

Nordic Batteries: Seeking a Production Manager to run our Industry 4.0 Battery Assembly line


Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibility will be to operate, fine tune, and optimize the operations of our production facility. This requires detailed knowledge about automated assembly, and robotics. To succeed in our mission, it is vital to ensure efficient production and consistently high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be able to establish and run the development of production and quality control processes based on LEAN principles, and implement the best practices in sustainable, resource efficient production.

A key mantra in Nordic Batteries is “design for automated assembly”. The role requires coordination with the engineering team, to provide feedback on product design. The candidate should be able to map bottlenecks and aid the design process to maximize efficiency and throughput of the factory.

Our production manager is expected to work independently in the beginning, but candidates with leadership ambitions are valued. As the company continues to grow, the right candidate will be given the opportunity to build a team around them. This will require fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability, motivating the production team to achieve excellence.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in relevant fields, like engineering, technology, robotics or similar. You should have a strong technical background with experience in production management, preferably in an automated or high-tech manufacturing environment. Furthermore, it is important that you have a structured approach to your work, and an understanding of efficient production processes and quality assessments. Finally, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm for contributing to the growth of the Nordic and European battery industries.

Additionally, the following qualifications will be considered valuable:

Experience from battery manufacturing, automotive industry or similar industry

  • Strong data analysis skills with experience in using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with LEAN principles and a track record of successful process optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • The ability to build and develop a motivated and engaged production team.
