Jarle is the Chief Executive Officer of the company. He is an experienced general manager with a demonstrated history of working in the industrial engineering industry. Jarle holds a BSc in Engineering from the University of Glasgow as well as an EMBA from BI Norwegian business school. On his spare time, he develops and maintains his farm outside Kongsberg.

Lars is the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He has a background in corporate finance and M&A advisory. He also has experience as a consultant and analyst in the energy sector. Lars holds a MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Besides work, Lars is an amateur musician and plays bass in a rock band.

Markus works as a Battery Expert at Nordic Batteries, as part of the technical team with focus on quality assurance. From his time as a Postdoctoral Fellow at NTNU he has experience with testing Li-ion batteries to understand and prevent degradation and ageing. Markus also holds a MSc in Nanotechnology and a PhD within the field of optical sensors and phase-change transitions. On his spare time, Markus enjoys riding his bike.

Jan Erik is Supply Chain manager at Nordic Batteries. He brings valuable experience from his most recent role as Team Lead Purchase at TESS, and several other roles in supply chain and logistics. Jan Erik has studied management at BI Norwegian Business School. On his spare time, Jan Erik enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.

He holds Master's in entrepreneurship and innovation, and has previous experiences from both startups and strategy consulting within the renewable energy sector. Outside of the office, Herman is an enthusiastic skier, has been a sailor, and an ambitious hobby cook.

Mathias is Control Engineer in Nordic Batteries working on the development of our BMS (Battery Management System). He has joined us fresh from his studies in Cybernetics on USN (Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge). In his Bachelor thesis/project he was responsible for the BMS development for an electric vehicle and through this both gained interest and experience for battery systems. When not working, he is doing down-hill biking and an active gamer.

Manis is Control Engineer at Nordic Batteries. He is working with Nordic Batteries through the Industry Master-program of USN (Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge), where he is currently persuing a MSc in IT and Automation. Manis holds a BSc in Informatics and Automation.

Rasmus is an experienced leader with over 30 years in global executive and board roles, he brings extensive expertise across the oil, gas, and energy sectors. His career includes senior leadership in both emerging and mature markets, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and private equity-backed ventures. With nearly 20 years at Aibel/Vetco/ABB and 10 years at at FMC/TechnipFMC, he is passionate about driving strategic, results-focused leadership and making a meaningful impact. He holds an MBA, major in finance, investment & banking from University of Wisconsin, and a Master of General Business, Major in Marketing from BI Norwegian Business School.

Jan-Olaf is the founder and chairman of Nordic Batteries. He is a serial founder with focus on the sustainability, energy and e-mobility sector. Jan-Olaf holds a DSc from MIT in Ocean Engineering and International Management as well as a MSc from ETH Zürich in Mechanical Engineering. On his spare time, he enjoys skiing and producing great wine in his vineyard in France.

Svein-Olav acts as a board member and advisor for the company, in the areas of Market and Financing. He has extensive experience in the technology and energy industry and has held managing and board positions for over two decades. He currently holds the position as Managing Director in Kongsberg Innovasjon, one of our key partners. He holds a BSc in Automation in Machining business and Business administration, and a MSc in Offshore Material Technology.

Robert brings extensive experience in finance and economics, with a strong focus on the energy sector. He has significant hands-on expertise in managing and developing companies, particularly within renewable power production, grid operation, district heating and power retail. Robert holds an MBA in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School.

Reidar acts as an advisor in the field of industrial development. He has three decades of leadership experience in renewable energy and clean-tech. Reidar co-founded REC, the world's first fully integrated solar (PV) company, and for many years also the largest PV company in the world. Reidar has also founded and is involved in the clean-tech investment fund Novus Energy Partners . Reidar holds an MSc from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
